We saw buggys at Middleton, Ohio. They even had hitching posts for them at the Walmart! We were able to spend some time in Kirtland, and even a Theme park between Rochester and Buffalo called Darien Lakes Theme Park. We all had lots of fun!

We made it to the top of the Hill Cumorah. The boys pushed Grandma all the way to the top. Tanner was just the right age for this trip. 14 years old. We were able to baptisms for the dead in the Palmyra temple. We loved the trip to Niagra Falls. Everyone liked the boat ride on The Maid of the Mist.

We had a good time in Chicago. We went to the fountain in the park and watched fireworks on the 4th of July there. We ate dinner at Giordanos in Chicago. These kids ate crickets flavored like salt and vinegar. We found lots of ways to keep Sam entertained along the way.

All the Marriott Boys

During Priesthood session, I took the girls to see a movie. Sam was really tired, so Dave took him with the boys to church. We needed to make sure we had a picture of the first time Sam went to Priesthood session. He probably won't get to do that with his brothers again for a long time.

Autoliv Easter Egg Hunt

Autoliv does a nice Easter Egg Hunt for the employees. Tanner helped Sam as a first timer. There was so much candy that the kids would pass by the ones they didn't want.

Prom March 21st

Justin had a good time at Prom. The kids looked great. After the dance they all came to my house for doughnuts. The recipe I had didn't have the amount of flour, so I didn't know how big it was. Dave told me I should double it.

Later I found out it made 50-60 doughnuts per recipe. Oops! We were making doughnuts until 1:00 a.m.

Dana and George Ulrich were troopers. We really appreciated having their help!

Sam learned to walk in February. The whole family was having fun with the process.

Sam turned one in February. It only takes me 2 months to put it on the blog!

Sam turned 1!

Peter Pan

Justin and James played Lost Boys in the play Peter Pan at Weber High School. They were the twins and they had to grow their hair out and look as messy as they could. They had lots of fun in the play. One of my students, Cheryl, had the lead as Peter Pan in the play.

Our 2008 ornaments

We usually buy an ornament for everyone each year, but time got short. So for family home evening we made our own ornaments. We had a really good time and now we think we will keep the tradition going by making our ornaments each year.
